I forgot not to blink and this Sunday, May 29th my beautiful Granddaughter Adriana Jean will be turning 2. We will be celebrating with her so I’m quite sure there will be pictures this week.

Adriana Jean

On June 1st our sweet little Peyton Elizabeth will be turning 1. There goes my faucet. I cannot help myself. I just do not see these two often enough. These girls are the youngest Grand babies and who knows when there will be another…

I sure could use a few guest bloggers for June. Come on be brave…give it a try. e-mail me at doreenb8 at verizon dot net.

I am still working on revising “I Felt God’s Pain”. I have a bit of extra research to do also. I am satisfied with the book so far…it is a tough write:(

I’ve been a really bad blogger gift giver…they are coming I promise…12 hour work days and revisions…I must get them out before the next contest. Oh yes, I’m thinking the most favorite guest post??? No pressure:)

No pressure really:)

I’ve been a real bad doggie Mamma too. A friend told my husband Lance and Louie look like they just got back from a Grateful Dead concert. I don’t get it?  I do know they are a matted mess. These long work days will soon be over and I will be working in Jammies full time (hopefully).

Lance and Louie; Louie and Lance...

Lee Greenwood has something really exciting coming out for 4th of July (We have the same publisher) more info to come…

Sarah Palin is rolling into the Constitution Center in Philadelphia for Memorial Day.  I may not agree with all of her policies but I heard today that a group of men had shirts printed up with the “C” word on them.  I find that word as offensive as the “N” word.  She is a wife, mother, daughter, sister a former governor and so stupid she just made 20 million dollars.  Seriously; where are the real woman here to say I disagree or agree with your policies but as woman this is UNACCEPTIBLE; BULLYING AND PLAIN DISGUSTING!!!

I have (2) friends who are working on being published. My lovely friend Neasha Clark has written (2) children’s books. She has 3 gorgeous little angels of her own and I am really rooting for her.

My dear friend Joelle who lives too far away in North Carolina has a husband with an amazing story to tell. He has just finished his book. I will keep you posted on their progress. If you pray…offer one for them please. If not perhaps a good thought or two:)

Hubby’s niece Kate received the cover copies for her novel “Cracked”. (3-6-2012) We have tried but it is no use we cannot help ourselves we are all warm and fuzzy happy and thrilled for her. She dreamed big and worked really hard for this. You can check her out to the right over there….”Some things I think”.

My adorable forward writer, Melissa Ann Hopely is off in California literally holding Hollywood in her hand…check her and her videos out up there under forward.  She is an amazing young woman.

My favorite quote of the week is: “The art of writing is the art of applying the seat of the pants to the seat of the chair”. ~Mary Heaton Vorse (How true it is)

Have a happy and fun Memorial Day…Do something unexpectedly kind for someone, and be safe…
