I am participating in a blogging challenge for the month of April. It is called the A-Z Challenge and if you are interested please join us…come on you know you want to at least try…link up here : http://tossingitout.blogspot.com

I have been doing a lot of behind the scenes work. My copy editor Lauren Downen is just amazing. She has made this process just flow for me. We are now moving on to Conceptual Editing. This is the part I have been stressing over and being super excited about at the same time. When this phase is finished, I will have a book. My first book. I will get to hold it and flip through the pages. It is still quite bittersweet. The launch party has been planned; press releases are being prepared; advertising is being purchased and events are being scheduled. I have asked someone super cool to do the forward and still…no answer:( I have my fingers crossed and have said a few prayers…the waiting is awful.

So my publishing team tells me April will be one of the busiest months. I tell you my stomach is in my throat and the stress in my neck and shoulders…ultrasound and alignment tomorrow.

John’s niece Caroline is singing the song for the book trailer. The recording is next weekend. She has an amazing voice and I cannot wait to hear the finished product and then to see what the cinema photographers come up with, for the trailer.
Did you know that there are commercial photographers that take photo’s of items such as books; I had no idea.
I am very; very excited to be attending an event at State College for my friend Rebecca Rasmussen’s book. She is getting amazing reviews and is headed straight to rockstardom. If you have not pre-ordered or at least checked her web sight for real down to earth amazing writing visit here : http://www.thebirdsisters.com
I sent my first blog post for the newspaper into the editor this morning…as soon as I have it I will put the link up.
I am very thankful to be extremely busy in April because this was the month David was murdered and also the month John’s son died of suicide. The busyness counters the sadness. There will be a memorial for David and other murder victims on the 28th. It is always a moving and very emotional event.
My favorite quote for the week is: You have got a lot of choices. If getting out of bed in the morning is a chore and you are not smiling on a regular basis, try another choice. ~ Stephen D. Woodhull
My favorite part of April; of course besides being an author is PHILLIES OPENING DAY!!!!!

Have a positive and powerful week:)
