So when I left off last Friday John and I were getting ready to head to the shore on the motorcycle.  At the last minute we opted to take the car because of a 30% chance of rain. Oh am I SO happy we decided on the car.  When we got to the beach it was absolutely perfect. 45 minutes later….

We decided on a movie at the theatre on the boardwalk.  This was the view…

Of course we bought movie tickets,  the rain stopped and a beautiful rainbow appeared.  We saw The Dark Knight Rises.  I have to say I was overcome by sadness throughout the movie.  Besides that unshakable feeling it was a really good movie. We had a wonderful weekend.  It was just nice to be together..

I got a new client at my outside the house job this week. She is 96, feisty and SO unhappy that someone reported she was being neglected.  I was pleasantly surprised to find her pretty sharp and in amazing physical condition.  She is slightly forgetful. To make a long story short it turns out her granddaughter is one of the only other people that tried to help our homeless friend Sophie, the subject of my 3rd book. I was stunned. It is either truly a small world or God places us exactly where he wants us..or bothJ

My grandson Kyle is having surgery on his back this morning. Kyle is 15 and was born with special needs. Please say a prayer and or send some good thoughts for him, he is such an angel.

My friend Joelle could use lots of prayers as well. In her 4th week of chemo and radiation, she has been overcome with pain, dehydration, burning and nausea. They took her off of treatment and put her on IV fluids for a few days. My heart is just breaking for her and her family.  My friend Tina and I will be heading back to North Carolina next week to be with her.

The Olympics got us, we have been watching, I am SO tired.  I hate seeing the results on twitter in the afternoon but we are watching anyway…

How about that ChicfiLa Day?  What did you think? A lot of my friends wish people would line up for homelessness, mental illness and others ..I wish I had the energy to start something like that..hmmm..

Favorite quote this week: Your lack of planning does not constitutean emergency on my part.  I have NO idea who said it but wow..

Have you seen the trailer for BRISTOL bOYZ STOMP?? If you have thank you for helping it pass 2000 views!! If you have not I would love to know what you think:
