I had a great time with this challenge. I never thought when I started I would meet so many new friends and actually learn so much about rivers, mountains, states, songs, poems and oh the fantasy genre and the comics…I was in awe.
Then there were the people. Like the title of my websight ‘They say everyone has a story’ is absolutely true, everyone does have a story.
I knew this would be a challenging month for me to participate in a challenge such as this because April is the anniversary of my brother’s murder and my stepson’s suicide.
It was also a month of many extra ‘out of the house’ work hours and many hours of ‘in the house’ writing work.
We also recorded the music for my book trailer and started the filming.
My husband mentioned that he likes to fill his April with so much to do; giving himself little time to be sad. I decided to join him. I discovered that the two of us simply tried to outrun memories the entire month and they caught up with us at the end. I am exhausted and will take a short break and then be back at it….
I really want to thank the gracious hosts of this challenge:
