Back to Reality…

After a glorious [chaotic] week at the beach it is back to work and back to reality.

My reality  is not that bad I like my day job (well I like to help people) and early in the morning or late at night I get to write books, articles and blog posts.  I have a great husband whom I adore and heck he married me 3x.

So here we are at the weekend again and I missed a week of reading blog posts so I will be catching up and Fragmenting with the amazing Mrs.4444 over at http://www.halfpastkissintime.com

Then I will be visiting with all of my over 40 friends at the lovely Java’s here  http://nevergrowingold.blogspot.com

I have to say thank you to all of my new friends [or dare I say fans] at ‘ Crazed Fans’.  The host of this hop is none- other than the creator of the http://theblogentourage.blogspot.com

In fact the very creator of The Blog Entourage has been kind enough to do a guest post for me.  Something a little different around here….stop back on Tuesday for something delicious!!

So on with the fragments…On Friday June 17th, our 4th wedding anniversary my wonderful husband and I were joined in the sacrament of marriage.  We had been wanting to do this for so long and it was beautiful and meant so much to both of us.  My dear forever friend Tina was there for me once again and John’s son Michael was best son…as always. Our priest, Father Izzo was so kind and his help in making this happen on our anniversary date is so appreciated!

After the service we had cake and coffee at our house with friends and then it was mad packing for our family week at the beach….No matter how many times I tell myself I only need to pack a few things once again It felt like we were the Clampett’s on vacation.  John is an amazing packer but boy was that car loaded!

I drove down with my grand daughter’s Allyson and Julia and John drove the motorcycle.  The girls and I were stuck in traffic [the not moving kind] for an hour…that was awful:(  The rest of the week is a blur of memories….

There was a lot of beach sleeping going on by everyone but me.  I am exhausted but it was so much fun having our immediate family with us as well as 70 or so members of John’s family.

My favorite quote this week is a heavy one: “Silence in the presence of evil shames not the act, but condemns he/she who does nothing” ~Israel L. Gaither

Have a safe 4th of July & Happy Birthday America!!!
