Happy December!! I have NO idea why December 1st manages to depress me every single year. I Love the Holidays, I think I just stress too much about getting it all done and of course paying for it.

Did you all have a good Thanksgiving? I am on a liquid diet for six more weeks. I am having some surgery done on my jaw and having some dental work done as well. The first procedure was the week before Thanksgiving. I was thrilled to be able to eat some mashed potatoes. The next procedure is on 12/12/12. Hopefully, the date brings me luck.
The very best part of Thanksgiving was hanging out with this bunch of Grandbabies. There were only three of them missing and I am hoping to see them this weekend.
Peyton Elizabeth loves chips and will go grab one every chance she gets. I get so scared when children under 4-years-old eat chips, carrots, hotdogs, you know all those foods that they can easily choke on. Adriana choked a couple of weeks ago on a hard candy. It scared me so bad. Check out the guys face on the TV. Doesn’t it look like he and Peyton are making the same face?
Adriana got into my make-up in the car while I was reading through twitter. We were parked and waiting for my daughter to come out to the car. That will teach me!
Do any of you watch Sons of Anarchy? The show is brutal but the writing is so good. The season finale is on TuesdayL
I have been having trouble staying focused on my writing so I joined another writing group. This one meets in my old neighborhood. It was a diverse group and I am looking forward to joining them again in January.
Speaking of January, I have been invited to the Barnes & Noble in New Hope (Durham, NC.) on January 26. If you are in the area I hope you will stop by to say hi!
My sweet friend Pam from my Writers group, Hot Pens, lost her fiancé unexpectedly a few weeks ago. Please say a prayer for her…so very sad.
This was the extent of our first snow. I was a bit sad. I know, crazy.
