I love Fridays because I get to post a few random thoughts I have had during the week and I get the chance to read other peoples random thoughts. It is like blogger therapy. If you could use a little blogger therapy or a few new blogging friends or if you just like puppies, (she has 2 of the cutest little guys ever) please join us and our lovely host Mrs. 4444 for what she lovingly calls Friday Fragments…

My week started out pretty good until Tuesday. I worked 7am til 7pm. I pulled up to my house and my lil doggies were not jumping and slobbering all over my front window. Panic set in. I ran in the house and called them, nothing. Upstairs trapped in a room maybe, no. Out in the yard, no. Lance and Louie were gone. I went back out front and checked with neighbors. I called the SPCA and left a message. I called John at work. He called the police and left work. Now the two of us are not goofy dog people. The dogs needed a home so we took them. We sat here telling each other they were a pain in the neck, too much work, expensive etc…yeah right, we were devastated and scared to death. It was the worst night. We are goofy dog people. In the morning, John got a call from the police. A very nice woman and her sister rescued Lance and Louie from a busy street. I love those ladies!! The dogs finally figured out the electric fence was broken. We need to get it fixed asap.
Speaking of dogs our Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback, Mike Vick posted a lovely photo of himself and his adorable daughter on twitter the other day. As I was looking at the photo, I noticed a familiar box on the table. Milkbones…gasp! I know he did his time in prison for torturing and murdering all those dogs and hopefully learned from the ugghh.. experience but am I nuts? I feel like it is such a classless move. Couldn’t he get his little girl a kitten?? A lot of people feel he should just be left alone but he is a public figure. What do you think?
On a lighter note, I have been having fun rediscovering my love of journalism by doing interviews on my blog. Check them out and meet some amazing people. Monday I will post an interview with Kathleen Rodgers author of The Final Salute.
I am interested in interviewing bloggers who have monetized their blogs. If you know someone who would be interested, please have them e-mail me. doreenb8@verizon.net

We are leaving Monday night for Daytona Beach. I have been invited to speak at the Barnes & Noble there for Educator Appreciation week. I am triple excited because my parents and sister-in-law live close by and because it is Biketober Fest. I may get to ride one more time with my biker husband before it gets too cold. I am hoping for really warm weatherJ
