My Dad [Who is undergoing radiation for lung cancer] had his first scan since beginning radiation. The spot is shrinking so they want to do 10 more treatments on this spot [He has several.] I think this is good news and I am going to remain hopeful. Thank you all for the prayers and good thoughts. Please keep them going.
I Finally got a grand baby fix! It was a quick visit but with Julia, Morgan, Avery and Peyton Elizabeth we had so much fun with a campfire, swimming and eating Pop-Pop’s spaghetti and meatballs…next week …the boys! I have been so busy with writing, working and trying to get healthy. I am not looking forward to school starting. Summer went by too fast:(
So on Thursday morning, I was making a cup of tea and talking with Morgan, who is 8. Avery Paige walked into the kitchen and asked Morgan to take her to the bathroom. Morgan says, “just one minute.” She then said Mom-Mom, “Will you take me to the bathroom?” I said, “Yes Ave just let me pour my tea.” With that said, Avery proceeded to pee on the floor. Lance, my terrier walks over and pees on the floor…WTHeck? Avery is starting kindergarten in a few weeks and let’s just say she is not one bit happy about going to school. She has been exhibiting some other less than desirable behaviors too. I made a deal [bribe] with her. We shall see…

I need a new camera. I am a picture freak. When you lose a loved one, who is too young to go and then realize just how few photo’s you have, you NEED to have photo’s of everything. My camera got sand in it at the beach:(
