My friend Lisa Tortorello tagged me for a fun new game called The Next Big Thing…

The Next Big Thing (TNBT). The event consists of 10 questions about an author’s current WIP (work in progress.) Here’s the plan:
A. Answer the ten TNBT questions listed below about your current WIP.
B. Tag five other writers and link their blogs so we can all hop over and read their answers.
It’s that simple.
1.What is the title of your book/WIP? My next books title is I Felt God’s Pain
2. Where did the idea for the book come from? It is the true story of my 17yo step son’s suicide.
3. Under what genre would your book fall? memoir
4. Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition? Most definitely Melissa Hopely who wrote the forward for BRISTOL bOYZ STOMP, my first book and then I would probably ask her help in choosing the right young men. http://www.melissahopely.com
5. What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book? I Felt God’s Pain is a true story about the suicide of my husband’s 17 year old son, John and the devastatingly painful effect on his 15 year old brother, It also provides warning signs and positive affirmations of a fathers love for his son.
6. Is your book published or represented? It will be both and should be released later this year. My first book BRISTOL bOYZ STOMP [TATE] is out now.
7. How long did it take you to write? 11 months and counting
8. To what other books within your genre would you compare your story? It is a true story so there really would be no comparison.
9. Which authors inspired you to write this book? I’m not sure I was inspired by writers for this one. I was inspired by the depth of love my husband has for his sons and his undying faith.
10. Tell us anything else that might pique our interest in your book. This is not just a sad story. It is also a story about life, redemption and hope.
Now for my 5(I hope you will all be good sports because I would love to know what you are up to)
