I am officially nervous about my book tour. What to wear, the weather is crazy every where, will people come out, what to wear-oh I said that already. I am sooo excited about meeting some of my blog friends. Keep an eye on the schedule [up top there in the folder] to see if I will be visiting a coffee shop or book store near you.
So it is Friday and that means it is time to de-frag by way of Friday Fragments. Check it out and hook up to meet some great people. http://www.halfpastkissintime.com

I have witnessed a real life, actually happened, bonified miracle this year. It is more than a fragment, so I will post about it on Tuesday.
I am over-the-moon stressed about the holidays. As soon as I Felt God’s Pain receives an official release date, I am going to prepare ahead of time for any holiday or birthday remotely close to the date.
Speaking of birthdays, December 17th is my granddaughter Morgan Layla’s 9th birthday. Sweet Morgan is the best older sister to Avery Paige and Peyton Elizabeth. Happy birthday peach XXXOOO

I am from Bristol, Pennsylvania which is 26 miles north east of Philadelphia, on the Delaware River [the one George Washington crossed at Christmas time.] I live in Brookhaven, Pennsylvania which is 20 miles south of Philadelphia. I truly felt like I was in another world when I moved here. I’m starting to like the area. Anyway last week I had a book signing at The Black Salt Cafe [Love this place] which is a few towns east of Brookhaven in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania. So it gets a bit quiet and the very young waitress comes over to say hello and then she asks me “What is wrong with that Bristol place?” I say “What do you mean, Bristol is a very nice town.” She says “Does everyone get murdered there?” I was completely taken back because Bristol is a nice town. There have been three murders there in like three-hundred-years. Unfortunately one of the victims was my brother. I tell her this and she says “NBC news was in here last week interviewing our mayor because his nine year old niece was murdered in Bristol, too.” Okay I got goosebumps. There was a nine year old girl found raped and murdered in Saint Marks Church, fifty years ago. The case is still open…unsolved. I mention it in my book. A short while later in walked Mayor Eberle. He told me he was pushing to have his niece as well as the priest [who was a suspect] exhumed so DNA could determine once and for all if the priest did it…or not. I know the person writing the book about this case so I will not give any more away…like the police have now lost the evidence…anyway what are the odds that two people with a relative murdered in the tiny town of Bristol, Pennsylvania would meet in a little cafe miles + miles away from Bristol. Freaked me out I tell you!!
That was a really long fragment, thank you for letting me share it because I am still a bit freaked out!
My dogs have been getting out of the yard. Our neighbor down the block saved them from the dog catcher the other day. They escaped again today. They were saved by another neighbor. The yard is fenced and we cannot see where they are getting out. For now we have to lock their doggie door before we go out. It is very unnerving!

I am writing a picture book about them called The Adventures of Lance and Louie. I was planning to make up the adventures.
A quick up date on my quest to not think, say or do a not nice thing for an entire week no-matter-what…I still cannot get past the 6st day. So close. It is the thoughts that keep getting me. I am going to keep trying until I get there. I will say it has really made a huge difference in my life. I react to other peoples negativity differently, much calmer, which I did not expect. I have always been too sensitive. I never expected this little experiment to help with that. So much less bothers me now. I so hope I can make it the whole week before the end of the year.
I am really looking forward to visiting Fredericksburg, Virginia. I will be at The Griffin Bookshop on December 27th from 2-4pm. Do you live near by? Have you been there? It is an old Victorian house turned bookstore/coffee house. Sounds like love to me:) http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Griffin-Bookshop-and-Coffee-Bar/73423219180
My favorite quote this week is:
The role of a writer is not to say what we all can say, but what we are unable to say. ~~Anais Nin
