More than anything I wanted to leave my safe and steady full time job for the glamour of owning, my own business and writing full time. When I did just that last April I quickly realized it would be awhile before I would once again have a safe and secure feeling regarding my finances and the glamour moments are few and far between.

I thought it would be a good idea to make an appointment with a financial planner. Being a midlife woman I knew I needed to up my retirement savings and at the same time I needed to know what debt I needed to pay down.
