I love Raisinets…
Insecure Writers Support Group
Purpose: To share and encourage. Writers can express doubts and concerns without fear of appearing foolish or weak. Those who have been through the fire can offer assistance and guidance. It’s a safe haven for insecure writers of all kinds! Posting: The first Wednesday of every month is officially Insecure Writer’s Support Group day. Post your thoughts on your own blog. Talk about your doubts and the fears you have conquered. Discuss your struggles and triumphs. Offer a word of encouragement for others who are struggling. Visit others in the group and connect with your fellow writer – aim for a dozen new people each time.
Be sure to link to this page and display the badge in your post.
The awesome co-hosts for the March posting of the IWSG are Lauren Hennessy, Lisa Buie-Collard, Lidy, Christine Rains, and Mary Aalgaard!
Let’s rock the neurotic writing world! Our Twitter hashtag is #IWSG
Writing Wednesday
Wednesday is also the day that I like to share writing, publishing and marketing information that I have learned on my journey to becoming a full time writer.
WRITING FULL TIME
As of January 1, 2016 I am officially a full time writer as well as a writer/author consultant/coach, ghost writer, speaker and instructor. It was a long process but I am thrilled to finally be here!
That said being in business for myself does come with its own special brand of insecurity.
It turns out my dream of lying on my sofa with my laptop, watching soaps and eating Bon-Bons and Raisinets was just a dream. I am eating a lot of Raisinets. I am obsessed.
The bills still have to be paid so I have to get dressed and go out. Don’t get me wrong, I am in no way complaining. I absolutely love this next, new and exciting phase of my life.
Now I just need to sit down and write something.
How was your month? Can you believe for the next #IWSG we will have started the #AtoZchallenge.
Spring is coming!
Happy Writing,
Doreen

I am absolutely green with envy that you get to have a life of writing, writing, and more writing. And please don’t discredit the bonbons. They are a must in every writer’s life.
LOL! Yes, welcome to my world. I am all things, which means it’s all up to me. And as my husband says, I am the worst boss on the planet.
You never cease to amaze me in all you do. Wow. How much can you fit in a day? The answer is A LOT!!!
The Raisinets? I’ll leave them to you and we can race while I eat a box of non-pareils. Yum! xo
So happy for you and all your success. I have had several people ask about your book after reading my review. All the best to you as you wear your beautiful, new author’s hat.

Woot! That’s so great you’ve achieved your career goals of eating Raisinets. Plus you get to write for a living! 😀 I’m very happy for you, and I hope you continue to be successful.
Congrats!!!! I wish you much success in your new endeavors!!!
Awesome! That is a fantastic place to be; bask in it for a moment and then crack the whip and get going 😉
Stock up on raisinets if that’s what gives you fuel – in fact, I must look out for some…
Congratulations, Doreen.
Awesome news!
…and all those events on the author schedule means you’ll be busy, busy, busy. Enjoy the authorly life!
Are raisinets miniature raisins? Or something like that? I love my nuts and raisins…
A to Z is just over 3 weeks away – can you believe it?
I’ll see you on the A to Z circuit!
Congrats! That’s such exciting news! I love raisinets too! I have a bag ready to go for tonight! You deserve every minute of your success! I’m so thrilled for you!
Congratulations on following your passion and turning it into a full time career. I will be buying stock in Raisinets in support of you!
Kudos to you for going OFFICIALLY full-time writer (and more). May the raisinets keep you going at the times the couch is calling your name!
Love the post title! Made me chuckle.
Honestly, you have done soo much! My hat is off to you. Seriously, girl!
P.S. I love rasinetes too!!!
That’s so wonderful. I am happy for you Doreen.
Congratulations! That must be so much fun–hard work to be sure–but so much fun!
Congratulations! What awesome news, and hope all your signings/readings go well! At least raisinets are small!
So wonderful to realize your dream!
I’m so glad you are having such success! I’m trying to follow your example!
I will see you at BAM and yes, The A to Z challenge is NEXT month; I need to get going on that too! Yikes, much to do!
That is awesome, Doreen! So happy for you that you are fulfilling a dream. No Raisinets here — I would eat the whole bag in one sitting!
So many congratulations for taking this sleep. It will be unbelievably rewarding… And if you need more raisin nets I’m your woman 🙂 we always have them over here.
LOL, yeah I agree What do you mean it is not… as Angeline said. My dream differs only that I am on the beach or ocean front porch writing.
Congrats on full-time writer. I’m so jealous, but in a good way–excited for you and inspired.

Awesome! *tosses cheese confetti* Way to go! I love where you’re at. I’m sure it’s been an immense amount of work to get to that point and I’m impressed. You rock.
Congrats on being a full-time writer! I don’t really like rasinets and would happily give you any that I come across to add to your celebration 🙂
What do you mean it isn’t lying on the sofa watching soaps and eating sweets? My dream is over! Haha, congratulations on making the transition. I accidentally fell into a role as a full time mum and author last year, but luckily I don’t need to pay the bills with my writing. If I did we’d be living in cardboard boxes by now! Good luck with it all.
