I know it is Tuesday but I’m still working on…
The only good part about Monday is “I Love My Online Friends” : http://www.thethingswefindinside.com and I am still working on this one!
I am also still working on my Friday visits:
We have Friday Fragments with our very lovely host, Mrs.4444. Here, if you have information stuck in your head but not quite enough to do a full post you can just dump the pieces out here:
http://www.halfpastkissintime.com
And I am trying Follow me Friday at On the Verge : http://www.ontheverge6.com
I added info on my first 3 books up there under Books; check it out and let me know what you think…#3 has no title yet..
We finally had the pleasure of a grandchild last weekend. Little miss Adriana who is already 21 months old put us in a very happy place. She was an angel!
She approved of our new crib and guest room but you know we did it…we put the crib in our room….My daughter said she has been asking for us 🙂
My Dad had surgery again yesterday. Thank goodness everything went very well. This was his second major surgery in 2 months. I wish my parents were not so far away 🙁
So it was 65 degrees in Philly today and we are expecting 70 degrees tomorrow…hubby had the motorcycle out and he is very happy. We will of course probably have a blizzard next week or better yet the first week in March when we will hopefully be in sunny warm Florida for Bike Week.

There is a very serious fever going around the Philadelphia area. It’s called Phillies Fever! Come on Spring Training 🙂
I know I am not supposed to stress over followers but I really feel like I have a friendship with mine and it feels so good to have hit 400. Because I am so touched by your support I may just start giving out gifts again to anyone that leaves me a meaningful comment (to define meaningful;:make me laugh or cry)
I think I am keeping it together pretty well as far as “Bristol boyz Stomp” goes. The launch party is being planned and John (my hubby) is being so supportive. I love when he says “My wife is an author”. I knew there would be a lot involved but my oh my there is SO much to do; while still trying to work on WIP #2 & #3 and work full time.
I have been having a lot of trouble with my post-concussive syndrome lately. The med’s make me so tired and it is so hard to stay focused. Physically I am starting to feel much better.
What is wrong with people? These unions are really out of control in this country. It is not the teachers or the workers. These union bosses are nothing but thugs that have SPENT their members pensions. Wake up Union members and get rid of the scum that could care less about you!
My favorite quote this week is:
You have to find something that you love enough to be able to take risks, jump over hurdles and break through brick walls that are going to be placed in front of you. If you do not have that kind of feeling for what you are doing, you will quit at the first hurdle. –George Lucas
I will be doing a lot of writing this weekend. What are you doing? I am still looking for some guest posters…..you can e-mail me here: doreenmcgettigan11@gmail.com
Have a powerful and positive weekend…

Doreen,
How lucky for you and husband to have a new granddaughter. What a blessing and joy they bring. Bike week in Florida. Are you riding or pulling? I hope pulling but you never know with die-hard bikers. Ha. Hope your Sunday is going wonderfully well.
Love and Peace,
Manzanita
If you have to have a fever, I suppose Phillies fever is the way to go.
Sorry about the effect the meds are having on you, they can be both a blessing and a curse. Stay strong and keep getting stronger.
Hi Doreen,
Thanks for stopping by FitandFab365. 400 followers. Awesome. Your granddaughter is beautiful.
Have a great weekend.
Hi Doreen,
So happy to “meet you”. Thanks for visiting an commenting on my blog. I have had fun reading some of your past posts. Good luck on the new book. My daughter is a writer and author for YA and is just finishing up a YA novel for boys. I know what a lot of work it is but can’t imagine how hard it must be to write about such personal things.
Good luck with the new book.
What a little sweetheart, Adriana 🙂
I hope you feel better soon–Enjoy your weekend.
Hi Doreen! Thanks for stopping by to follow One Busy Chick! I am happy to have followed you back here, and I look forward to seeing more of what you have to say.

I hope the weather cooperates for “Bike Week”. Will you be riding that bike all the way to Florida??? That would be quite a ride…As a former bike rider, all I can think is “ouch!” LOL
I totally agree with your comments about Unions. I wonder if people will ever wake up and realize…
Have a great weekend, the weather is so beautiful here. I’m excited about being able to get outside 🙂
Your granddaughter is cute! You and your husband sound like you’re great grandparents. Have a great weekend!
And I thought 58 degrees was warm here! Can’t wait for spring to really get here! I think it’s 32 days to go yet (something like that). Your grandchild is adorable! We read a lot but haven’t read any of these yet.
