Friday Fragments and other Fun Friday Fun…

So I had my 2nd ever guest post this past week and I hope my kids think of me the way she thinks of her mother.  If you have  not read the post yet please check it out here and then go over to visit Rebecca here: http://landlock-mo.blogspot.com and show her some follow and comment love!

This is an exciting day for me because I am meeting with my marketing manager and we are scoping launch party places.

Oh; how could I forget this is Friday and these are Friday Fragments.  Little pieces of thoughts or events that are not quite enough for a full post.  The host of Friday Fragments , Mrs.4444 I am willing to bet has a head about to explode with fragments because she is a teacher and guess where.  If you would like to join in the fun go here: http://www.halfpastkissintime.com

The Lovely Java at Never Growing Old was going to take a break from blogging for awhile.  We were all so sad that she decided to continue Meet me on Monday and Follow Friday.  To join this bunch(you have to be at least 40 or let’s just say mature) go here: http://nevergrowingold.blogspot.com

Then there is Boost my Blog Friday.  I am going to try to get through this one it may take all month : http://designitchic.blogspot.com

I have a few more guest posts scheduled so check back often you never know who you may meet…

My sweet 21 month old granddaughter Adriana (yes the one that slept over last weekend) has pneumonia.   I am sure she will be fine, it is just so awful when babies (or anyone for that matter) is sick.

Hurry up and feel better little one!

I am relieved that I did get some writing done this week.  I am still struggling with the effects of my 3rd concussion.  It is so hard to stay focused.  It is a good thing (sometimes) that I am such a determined  and rather stubborn person and refuse to let this crazy mind stuff stop me.

I am also still very busy working on placing Sophie (our homeless woman) into a very nice facilityThe government sucks big time in this area so this is one of the handy times my stubborn side comes in very handy.  I refuse to put her in a dump.

My favorite quote this week is:

Sow a thought and you reap an act; Sow an act and you reap a habit; sow a habit and you reap a character; sow a character and you reap a destiny. –Ralph Waldo Emmerson

I’m hoping you all are reaping on the good side.

I also hope you all are investigating and researching what is going on in the world right now.  It is very hard to trust any media to cover these events truthfully. I am hoping that our teachers, firemen and police just were not aware that some of the folks marching with them were carrying communism and socialist signs.  Scary.

Have a powerful and positive weekend 🙂

Doreen
